Strategic Platform Insects (SPI)
To meet the growing need for a clear framework and a common platform with regard to insect farming, the Flemish Minister of Environment, Nature and Agriculture set up a strategic insect platform in 2015. This platform meets on a regular basis to structure and manage knowledge about and experiences with insect farming from the bottom up and to point out the bottlenecks.

International Platform of Insects for Food and Feed (IPIFF)
IPIFF is an EU non-profit organization which represents the interests of the insect production sector towards EU policy makers, European stakeholders and citizens. Composed of 86 members, IPIFF promotes the use of insects for human consumption and insect-derived products as a top tier source of nutrients for animal feed.
